The Asia-Pacific Journal: Japan Focus The Asia-Pacific Journal provides in-depth critical analysis of historical and contemporary forces that are shaping the world's most dynamic region and its global connections. In addition to articles prepared for the journal, it offers translations from Japanese, Chinese, Korean and other languages. This peer-reviewed open source journal is a fully indexed resource. Its website contains more than 1,500 articles. 4,000 subscribers receive a weekly newsletter linking to four to eight new articles. More than 275,000 articles are accessed each month with more than 110,000 visits by readers from 180 countries. We pride ourselves on the rigor and speed of our peer-review process.
